The bridge glued on

 The guitar now needs the neck to be shaped and frets installed.  Then, after the saddle and nut are cut and adjusted, and strings put on, the first notes can be played.

Fretboard attached to the neck

Fretboard, bridge; Guitar assembly

 Fitting the fretboard onto the guitar, making sure there is a solid fit.


Also looking at the bridge blank and thinking how to cut it so there is enough space to decorate.

Acoustic guitar neck & peghead

 The neck is attached with a dovetail and pulled tight with a furniture bolt.

The peghead design is almost finalized, so some paper mockups will be next to get the proportions and positioning.
