This is a very low tech clamp for attaching back & top to sides. It is made of two wood blocks on a carriage bolt with a washer and wingnut.

Music room

My little music nook. On the left are an electric bass and a Les Paul I built from plans. On the wall; a Ramirez classical guitar I built from plans, an Epiphone Les Paul with some hot pickups, and a steel string guitar I built.

Amateur workshop

It doesn't look like it right now, but some guitars are in the process of being built. Presently, work is being done on rehabilitating and tuning up some hand tools. This picture shows the sole of an old Sargent plane that is partway through flattening the sole.
